ANZAC Day - remembering our past, protecting our future
100 years ago, our ANZACs were returning home after the end of World War I.
They were alive. But many carried the physical, psychological and emotional wounds of what they had endured.
The war may have been over, but for some, the war never ended.
In the approach to ANZAC Day, we often hear about the brave men and women who fought for and served Australia in World War I and World War II.
While these veterans will always have a special place in our hearts and history, there are many challenges that are faced by our contemporary veterans, living in our very own communities.
So, we ask you to join Soldier On in remembering those that have served our nation in years gone by, and show your support for our returned servicemen and women, and their families by making a much needed donation so they can continue to receive the vital services that were not available to our ANZACs.
It is the ultimate way to honour those who have served our nation, those past, present and future.
